The MEDUVENT Standard makes ventilation possible even without oxygen cylinders. The innovative turbine-driven emergency ventilator maintains ventilation for approximately 8 hours without requiring an external gas supply. However, supplemental oxygen in concentrations from 21% to 100% can be delivered to the patient at any time using the universally compatible inhalation tube.

In an emergency response scenario, the speed at which therapy can be started is often key for patient outcomes. The MEDUVENT Standard has intuitive menu guidance, emergency modes and ventilation start-up based on height – all of which make it easier to use the device to make a straightforward start on ventilation. This ensures that the patient is taken care of as quickly as possible, safely and in line with guidelines.

MEDUVENT Standard is one of the smallest, light-weight emergency and transport ventilators in its class. The device weighs approx. 2kg and has a device volume of 3.5L. As a result, it can fit in emergency vehicles which have limited space or require particularly lightweight equipment. Both air rescue services and ground emergency medical services can benefit from the ergonomic and logistical advantages of MEDUVENT Standard.

Its small size (3.5 l) and light weight (approx. 2 kg) also make the device ideally suited to use in emergency vehicles, helicopters and aircraft. MEDUVENT Standard is one of the smallest turbine-operated ventilators in the world and yet still extremely flexible.

As the device is used in every imaginable location under all kinds of conditions, a high degree of resistance to shock and vibration, together with a high level of protection against penetration by dust and water (IP54), are extremely important. MEDUVENT Standard is tested for use in emergency vehicles in line with all the relevant standards.

Space-saving, lightweight and ergonomic, MEDUVENT Standard is one of the smallest emergency and transport ventilators in its class. Weighing just 2.1 kg and with a volume of 3.5 l, the compact device can be installed even in places where space and permitted weight are limited. MEDUVENT Standard is a ventilator geared to the demands of intensive care medicine and thus guarantees that patient care abroad is equivalent to that expected in the home country.

Always reliable thanks to turbine technology

If you have to do without oxygen cylinders for tactical reasons, MEDUVENT Standard can also be used entirely without oxygen. As an alternative, you can supply the patient with ambient air or concentrator oxygen (93 %).

Supplying the patient with oxygen

A source of oxygen can easily be connected at any time, as the oxygen inlet is compatible with standard inhalation systems used all over the world. The source of oxygen can be selected freely. It is also possible to use low-flow concentrators. Oxygen concentration can be set flexibly between 21 % and 100 %. The oxygen lasts a long time, as it is purely for the patient – the device requires no oxygen to function.
